A Grade II listed former Georgian farmhouse, The Tollgate dates back to 1720 and has been lovingly and sympathetically restored achieving an eclectic mix of old and new and providing a complete home-from-home environment amongst some of the most beautiful and historic countryside in Britain.

The Tollgate is about ‘easy living’ and comfortable surroundings. The huge Inglenook fireplaces in both the bar and lounge offer a warm and welcoming reception all year round, whilst a delightfully relaxed and informal atmosphere fills every room - this is complemented by a dedicated and helpful staff who understand exactly what it takes to make a difference to all of our guests, their mission is to ensure that your stay is a memorable one.
